SoloCan

For months, we’ve been postponing the release of sliced cakes, as it disrupted our daily operations and workflow too much. The ultimate solution we came up with was to create cakes in cans – what we now call SoloCan.

Initially, we planned to launch the SoloCan earlier, but the cans presented several challenges in terms of operations, logistics, and system management, which required more time to address.

For example, since the nature of the SoloCan is different from cakes, it introduced additional restrictions and complexities: how to program our website to support this new product, how to design cake labels that streamline pick-ups and deliveries, and how to modify Cheesy’s backend system to integrate orders automatically (as it reduces human errors). We also had to ensure the system could properly read and manage the addition of this new product – and that’s just a fraction of the many issues we had to solve.

Cheesy has had to design and implement solutions for every small issue along the way. Now, we are thrilled to officially launch the SoloCan!
